Gary & Curtis Matthews
For over 35 years, Gary Matthews has been turning handcrafted wooden bowls in Canada, including beautiful wooden salad bowls and burls, on a handmade lathe in his workshop near the village of Tamworth, Ontario. His business partner and son, Curtis Matthews, joined the craft in 2012.
Matthew's hand carved wood bowls are both functional and decorative. They create a collection of hand carved wood bowls, wooden platters, and burls in a variety of shapes and designs. Their handcrafted wooden bowls are displayed and available in galleries and shops throughout Canada, offering timeless pieces that showcase the beauty of natural wood.
